About Me 🤔

Hello there!
I'm Crystal, I am a 23-year-old self-taught freelance artist located in New York. I was born and raised in the United States but I am of Jamaican descent.Ever since I was a kid I have enjoyed anything creative and imaginative. Whether it was sculpting, photography, poetry, traditional art etc. Regardless of the medium, I could spend hours engaged in something creative. I am incredibly grateful to my mother who appreciated the arts and encouraged and developed my love for art.In highschool I discovered a community of talented artists in person and online. They inspired me to practice my skills and apply for some amazing art opportunities.Currently I am a full-time college student. I am pursuing a degree in Psychology. I've taken courses in drawing, sculpting and photography. I specialize in stylized portraits but I'm continuously exploring different types of art. My projects so far have only been personal. I hope to gain passive income in order to pay for my tuition while I gain more experience as an illustrator.I exhibit extreme dedication in all my endeavors but art will always be my passion. I have a pretty busy life and I draw when I can, but I hope you enjoy what I share with all of you. When I'm not drawing I spend my time gaming with my friends, reading and trying out new recipes in my kitchen.

I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason.
I accept payments primarily through Cashapp in USD.
I do not offer refunds unless I am unable to complete the commission.
Please make sure you have completely read my T.O.S. & review my gallery before commissioning.
This way you will have a better understanding of what you will receive for your piece(s).

• These commissions are for personal use ONLY. You can use as profile pictures, icons, or social media banners. Comissions CANNOT be used for commercial use. (as logos on products, or to be resold)
• I retain the copyright to my work and require attribution/credit in any repost of my work. I am free to use the commissioned work to promote myself unless specifically stated otherwise by the client. Please do not credit my art as your own.

• Do not remove watermarks from my work.
• I require full payment after the approval of the sketch.
• Work In Progress images will be sent for feedback. I send out a progress update during the sketch phase to make sure you like it before I proceed. You must respond before I continue the piece. I will do the same when I'm 'done' with the commission before I publicly post it. MAJOR CHANGES will only be allowed during the sketch phase.

⚬ MINOR CHANGES: Changing hair elements/small details/eye/mouth positioning/colors/etc.
⚬ MAJOR CHANGES: Changing the pose/outfit/hairstyle/etc.

• I have the right to retain screenshots of the commission conversation as a protective system in the case of slanderous remarks. By messaging me, you agree to my terms and will accept the enforced penalties if you fail to follow through. Penalties include cancellations, the potential of no refund, black listing, and artist's beware post. The refusal of refunds is only applicable if the commission experience is incredibly deplorable due to your behavior.
Understand that I am a human first and an artist second.
I am allowed to take legal action if a commission is being used for anything other than the initial agreement.
• I have the right to refuse to work with anyone who talks down to me, treats me poorly, makes me uncomfortable, sexualizes, or objectifies me. If I choose to take a penalizing action, I will send a courtesy message explaining what led to the cancellation and any other action. As a protective measure, I will screenshot evidence and the courtesy message to justify slander.

The Commission Process

COMMISSION STATUS: [CLOSED]

• Full payment is made after the sketch is approved. I will only continue to work on the commission after receiving full payment.• The artwork should take a maximum of 4 months to be delivered. The client is free to ask for an estimation of when their commission might be delivered.• The client will be notified if the commission will take longer than expected to be delivered.• The client is free to request updates on the piece at any point during the process. The time I take to do a commission usually ranges from 2 weeks (maybe more depending on my schedule, how detailed it is, and if there is a queue ahead of you) but if I take longer don't hesitate to ask for updates!• The finished artwork is delivered in a Google drive folder, in png form along with any variations of the work, sent usually via private message.

PLEASE link me to a clear reference of the character you want to be drawn, I most likely will not know who your OC or fandom character is and I will not search google for them. Separate images count as separate commissions even when bought at the same time. 'Extra character prices' only apply when they are in a single image together. Don't be afraid to ask for changes!
